Squat means sitting in a crouching position in such a way that the knees are bent and buttocks go near the heels. The upper part of your body automatically bends forward to maintain the balance as you try to crouch. Then you stand up again and repeat the process. Squatting is considered the best exercise especially for the quadricepses and glutes. It burns the unnecessary flesh upon your thighs and legs and makes them slim and shapely. It makes the leg muscles and hips strong and flexible. It also strengthens and stabilizes the knees. You can do squats with or without barbell and weights. There are several types of squats, but a squat called Hindu squat is particularly beneficial for making your thighs thin and sexy. This squat is more suitable for ladies. You need not carry any weights while doing squats. All you need to do is to raise your heels and try to bring your entire body weight on your toes. Caution You should never do squat exercises more than you can endure. You may do 10-12 repetitions in the early stage depending upon your stamina and health.
