How to Identify Legitimate Paid Surveys

There are a lot of market research firms available online that offers paid surveys

. Payment can vary from a few dollars to even hundreds of dollars, depending on the complexity of the survey question. They have created a lot of ways to make the surveys more appealing to consumers. They pay either in cash or in kind to be able to have a catch all incentive to respondents and to be noticed and identified against all the competition available now. But, among the hundreds of sites that exist now, there are also those illegitimate surveys. For an individual who wishes to earn money online by answering these surveys, you have to note that and be able to identify legitimate paid surveys from scams. There are a few signs to distinguish them. The number one, and probably the most important thing to remember is that legitimate paid surveys pay you for answering questions. So if you encounter a site that asks you for money whether by cash, or check, you have to think. Why are you paying money to answer questions when they would be the one to benefit them? These marketing sites are already being paid by their clients to gather data for them. There should be no more need for them to get money from you. These sites that asks money or what they call membership fees, are just taking as much money as they can get from people who wants to get paid by answering surveys. Once they are caught or in the verge of being identified to be a fraudulent entity, they would just close the site and create another one. And the whole cycle would continue yet again. Another question is what if the site doesnt ask you for money but asks for your credit card information instead? Still a major no! Credit card information is a sensitive and personal information to you. This information is also not relevant to the people who need the data. Legitimate paid surveys will not ask you for this information. All they need would be the generic information like your age, level of education, and habits that are not in any way directly related to your bank account. These twoasking for cash or credit card information are two things that you should watch out for. Always think, how is this relevant to the surveys? A true market research would need your opinion and your preferences, not your credit card number or your bank account. So long as you keep these things in mind while looking for extra money by answering survey questions, the rest would be easy. Be true to whatever you answer in the survey in return of the incentive that you will be receiving afterwards. Remember that these surveys are not created for you to give them the right or what you think is the popular answer. They are created specifically to be able to provide you with better products and services. And theyre paying while trying to move towards that goal. Quite a bargain!
