How to Improve Your Job Skills as a Nigerian Graduate

You must find out new ways of doing things. If you want to work in a manufacturing company, it is good to stay ahead with the trend even if you are not working yet. Be inquisitive, become knowledgeable, and proffer suggestions. Become a solution provider.

Take training and certification serious. Now that you do not have a job yet would be a good time to develop yourself. What certifications are currently available in your line? Take as much as you can.

Become a natural networker. Draw people to yourself. Companies want to increase their clientele base, and one person in your immediate community may be all you need to get that job.

Create content. A proposal that involves technical writing is what brings in the millions for companies when they bid. Can you improve on your content creation? Can your words paint vivid pictures? You can do a test run by packaging your CV as a proposal and see what it gets you. You can do presentations with your content.

Start with doing just one of these above and improve on it. You will be shocked at the result. You must be proactive, the world make way for the man that knows where he is going.
