How to Jailbreak iPhone 4.3.1 Untethered on Windows Using Sn0wbreeze 2.5

Now windows users can also jailbreak IOS 4.3.1 untethered operating on their iPhone4, 3GS, Ipad and iPod touch using the new version of sn0wbreeze i.e. sn0wbreeze 2.5.

Users can jailbreak all devices except Ipad2 having the latest IOS 4.3.1 firmware using this unthether exploit provided by sn0wbreeze 2.5. Note that the original baseband will not be changed, so that iPhone4 and 3GS users can unlock using ultrasn0w. Mac users should stick to PwnageTool to jailbreak IOS 4.3.2.

Main Steps to jailbreak IOS 4.3.1:

Step.1: Download all the required tools and install them on your PC. Required Tools are

iTunes 10.2.1 for Windows.

Sn0wbreeze 2.5 for Windows.

iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Step 2: First Start Sn0wbreeze and proceed to the next step by pressing the "blue" colored arrow.

Step 3: Now click the "browse" button and select the required firmware .ipsw file for your iOS

Step 4: Now Sn0wbreeze will automatically identify the selected IPSW file. Once it is selected click the next "blue" colored arrow to proceed.

Step 5: Now u have to create your custom firmware. To do that you have to select the "Expert Mode then "Build IPSW" option. Creating the custom firmware may take some time, so be patient.

Note: If your iPhone relies on unlock, proceed only by selecting "Baseband Preservation Mode" option instead of "Expert Mode".

Step 6: When the custom firmware is created, sn0wbreeze will show "DONE!" message.

Step 7: Now you have to enter in the DFU mode using Sn0wbreeze:

Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds

Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds

You device should now be in DFU mode

Sn0wbreeze will display a message now.

Step 8: Start iTunes. Now from the sidebar in iTunes click on your iOS device icon. Now click on "Restore" button in iTunes and then release this button pressing and holding the "shift" key (Not "Update" or "Check for Update")

Now iTunes will ask the location of your custom firmware 4.3.1 file. Select your custom created .ipsw file and open it.

Step 9: Now iTunes will perform the rest of the steps, so be patient. Just wait while iTunes installs the new firmware 4.3.1 on your iOS device. Your iOS device screen at this point will be showing a progress bar indicating installation progress. After the installation is done, your iOS device will be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1.

Now unlock your IOS 4.3.1 using Ultrasn0w.
