You can also type in friends names that you know. Places you have worked, your high school, college, associations, etc. When you have done that, type in the name of some of your interests. Join the groups and start conversations with others there as well.

Before you know it you will have a fairly large community of friends and contacts. Build those relationships like you build on any other relationship and the time will come when they will ask "what do you do?". That is your magic moment to introduce them to your opportunity.
