How to Post a YouTube Video on Facebook

Facebook has an option of sharing videos to friends

. You may want to share a great video from YouTube at Facebook but do not know how. Here are simple steps to do it:

Sharing a Video in Your Own Wall

There are two methods of sharing a YouTube video in your wall, first is to create a link directly to the YouTube video or posting the video's links in your Facebook wall.

To create a direct link from your profile to YouTube follow these simple steps:

Step 1 - Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2 - Click on the share icon of the YouTube video. A list of social bookmarking sites will appear.

Step 3 - Among the list, select Facebook. This will automatically post the video to your profile or wall.

To post the link of the video to your wall or profile:

Step 1 - Log in to your Facebook account.

Step 2 - Select your YouTube video and copy the link or URL of the video.

Step 3 - Copy the URL or link.

Step 4 - Go to your Facebook wall and click on the blank that asks, "What's on your mind?"

Step 5 - Attach Icons will appear indicating photos, videos events and links.

Step 6 - Click on the link icon and paste your YouTube video link on the blank provided and not the video icon. Use the video icon only when you want to share a web cam recorded video in your wall.

Step 7 - Click attach. The YouTube video will appear in your wall once you refresh it.

Sharing a Video in Your Friend's Wall

You could also do this type of sharing in your friend's wall post. Go to his/her Facebook profile and do steps 1 to 7 of the second method. The steps are the same, except that you are now posting the link in his/her wall.
