How to Reduce or Eliminate the Lag in Your Computer
Computers are considered as very important appliance not just for luxury but also for necessity. From time to time, your computer is subject to several things which may cause it to run slowly especially during the times when you need it.
There are actually several reasons on why a computer may run slow and these can be classified into two major categories; hardware problem or software problem.
Having hardware problems with your computer may be more serious and requires immediate attention as compared to just having software problems.
One of the common hardware problems is low disk storage space. You may be saving a lot of files which fills up the whole hard disk drive. It is important that your hard disk drive have enough space to have some sort of "allowance" since this space is used for system purposes. As a solution, you can either delete unwanted files or just upgrade your hard drive. Alternatively, you can get external hard drive which actually acts just like a flash drive but has the storage capacity of a normal hard disk drive.
Another hardware reason might be a low memory. For the latest operating systems nowadays, it is recommended that you have at least 2GB of RAM in order for your applications run smoothly. But if you are running on older operating systems, 1GB of RAM may already be sufficient.
When it comes to software problem, one major cause of computer lag is virus infection. It is important that your computer system have an anti-virus installed so that you may be able to have protection against virus threats. But in case that your computer gets infected even if you already have an anti-virus software installed, all you need to do is to update your antivirus software and perform a full system scan to fix problems and free your computer from viruses which cause the computer itself to run slowly.
