How to Replace the Laptop CPU
The CPU is the portion of a computer system that carries out the instructions of a computer program, and is the primary element carrying out the computer's functions. Remove the CPU thermal cooling system

Lift the CPU ZIF socket.
Replacing the CPU
NOTE: Do not touch the CPU die. Press and hold down the CPU on the substrate mounted by the dice, while the screw to prevent intermittent contact between the screw and the CPU.

NOTE: To prevent damage to the CPU, hold the screwdriver so that is perpendicular to the lever of the CPU to turn the screw.
Pull the ZIF socket by turning the screw clockwise to the CPU, to ensure secure CPU to the motherboard.
