If you want outdoor furniture to be used specifically for lounging, there are numerous types of lounge chairs. Aluminum lounge chairs are the old classic. They are easily stored and are lightweight enough to be carried around, while being strong enough to support the weight of an adult.

Another option is plastic lounge chairs. A plastic lounge chair is molded, and is not foldable which makes them difficult to store. However, they are lightweight and will probably last longer than the aluminum lounge chair.

A teak lounge chair is gorgeous to look at and crafted beautifully. Teak has such a classic look that it looks stunning on a terrace and blends in beautifully with the natural environment. However, teak does require some semi regular treatment with teak oil in order to have it to continue to look beautiful.

Outdoor Furniture for Entertaining

If you want outdoor furniture for entertaining, then you may want a patio set with a table and a minimum of four chairs. Try to find a set that will hold up in the weather in your area and that is easily maintained

Outdoor furniture sets that have a bar and bar type stools are also available for those who really enjoy entertaining. This is the ideal set for people who enjoy having a lot of people over and like to play host.
