How to approach God? Uncertainty of attainment! Part I

It is not enough to look into the universe and to apperceive God. This is rather a shortcoming to approach God.

For those who deny God and disbelieve in Him, the problem is resolved and they do not have to worry for the time being. They are immune to any hope of belief. Their eyes are blind, their hearts are blocked and their minds are closed. They have a soul but sense nothing, they have spirit but do not feel anything. They are walking zombies, without life and without death.

For these robots, being does not mean more than being. There is no further than being and there is nothing to expect of life outside life. Their being is reduced to physical needs, mental empty interests and psychological desires and needs to satisfy like animals.

They have looked into the universe and found nothing. Nietzsche was a skeptic but denied God as did Russell, Sartre, Marx and now the mentally handicapped Hawking, professor at Cambridge with Newton's chair.

It is not surprising for the more you intellectualize the more you disbelief, as if the one leads to the other. But there remains the universe to explain, their own being as well. They have no proof of what they disbelief in. They have no one solid argument to deny God. But they simply do and that's considered legal in the constitution.

No one has the obligation to believe in God or disbelieve in Him. Everyone is at absolute liberty to choose for himself, but also everyone has the liberty to be a fool.

As for those who are not vegetables and chose to open their souls and minds to see that there must be a super power that made such a fine tuning of the universe and everything that is within it, these begin their journey of belief.

The journey to God is a long and hazardous one with a lot of efforts to be exerted. To believe or have faith in God is extremely simple, direct and without any ambiguity. But to approach God is another thing that is not simple nor is it easy.

What is needed is not an intellect of Einstein, nor to be an astrophysicist, nor be a prophet nor an ascetic living in a cave in the mountains. It is a simple automatic sensing and seizure of what we are all equipped for, that is to remain open souled, open hearted and open minded. Then reception of the divine is a natural process that comes by itself. No allusion is made here non whatsoever to the letting Christ coming into your. For Christ himself was one of those who believed in God but worked his way to approach him and succeeded.
