How to do your eye makeup like a celebrity

Whenever most of us look at celebrities we wonder just how do they do it? How do they lead their ultra busy glamorous lifestyle and still find the time to make themselves look utterly fabulous?

The truth is they don't. In fact most of the time when you see a glossy picture of a beautifully made up celebrity their make-up has been done by a professional.

But you can re create their beautiful eye make-up at home yourself without having to spend a fortune on a make-up artist!

The first thing you will need to do is apply foundation all over the eyelid and right up to thebrow bone. This will give you a nice even base that will help the eyeshadow stay on for longer. And it will also make they whole look more dramatic as the colour will stand out much more.

Next you should apply a highlighter all over your brow bone. This will help to emphasise your bone structure. It will also reflect the light which will make the eye and the surrounding area look much bigger. Be sure to blend it thoroughly.

Apply a light coloured shimmering eye shadow all over your eyelid and blend it right upto your browbone. This is another trick to help make the eye look widr. It will also make a huge impact. Use a bristledbrushand blend thoroughly to avoid and eye shadow falling down onto your face or creasing on your eyelid.

Add another slightly darker colour such as a medium brown onto your eyelid but do not blend it past the top of the eyelid.

Next you will need to add dark shade of eyeshadow such as dark brown, dark blue or black into the crease of your eye shadow. Use an eye shadow brush with no bristles and blend it upwards to just above the eyelid.

Apply the same colour to the upper, outer corner of your eyelid and blend it into the crease. Then apply this colour underneath your eye along your bottom lashes and smudge gently.

To finishyour eye shadow apply black eyeshadow at the bottom outer corner of your eye and blend gently outwards.

Next you will need to apply your mascara. A good trick to help stop clumps is to remove the wand from the tube for about one minute before you apply your mascara. This will help to dry the mascara out.

Hold the wand at the base of your lashes. Gently move the wand from side to side whilst moving it up the lashes. This will ensure that all the lashes are coated and it also helps to avoid clumps.
