January is the most common month that people decide to do something about their weight
. Normally though this will mean that most people go on a fad diet or crash diet, and by the end of january these will often have been given up and the long term effects will probably mean more weight gained than lost. In the coming weeks I hope to show you different ways of how to lose weight easily and healthily. The most effective way for permanent wight loss is not to go on crash diets no to do quick bursts of exercise. If you suddenly go into heavy exercise after not do much for a period of time is more likely to cause injury and leave you demotivated and having to wait to recover. If you go on low calorie diets etc then this can starve your body of precious nutrients and vitamins which will lave you feeling unhealthy. To effectively lose weight you need to use up the stores of energy in your body that are fat. To do this you need to increase the amount of activity you do and reduce the amount of calories you take in, but this needs to be done steadily and in sync with each. If you increase you daily amount of activity, you will lose weight if you keep the same diet as you will be using more of your stored energy, but this will eventually plateau out, so it is important to gradually start taking in less calories. This can be very small for a start, for example having one less biscuit a day will for a start make a difference. Even doing small things like drinking diet fizzy drinks will make a difference, or having semi skimmed milk. Alcohol is also a very fattening produce so reducing the intake will have benefits to your weight aswell as your health.
