After the pepper spray starts to kick in the fight is over since he will not be able to see you so you should be able to run away to get help.

3. Lastly, the visual fear factor alone can help to save you. In the dark when you pull this out it will be tough to tell exactly what you have in your hand and could potentially scare off the attacker or at least distract him long enough for you to take in a deep breath before you use the device.

So I am sure you can see that there is not much to it when it comes to figuring out how to use the Mace Pepper Gun. You only load it up, point the light at your intended target and then pull the trigger. That really is all there is to it!
