Hyundai Avante to be launched in December in India

It is being reported that Hyundai Avante will be launched in December 2010 in India. Hyundai Avante is a big launch from the South Korean car manufacturer after (Hyundai i20 CDRi). The speculations are strong that it will be priced around Rs. 11 lacs. Avante will come in two variants 1.6 litre diesel and petrol engine. It is being speculated that, the new sedan may come in 1.4 litre petrol engine. The Hyundai i 20 is also affixed with the same petrol engine. Hyundai Avante is the taking the place of Hyundai Elantra as its manufacturing has been halted from last year. The all new car Hyundai Avante will come in 5 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. The petrol model will come with 1591cc DOHC CVVT engine which will produce maximum power of 118 bhp at 6200 rpm with maximum torque 156 Nm at 4200 rpm. The Diesel model has 1582 cc CRDi engine which can produce maximum power of 115 bhp at 400rpm with maximum torque of 260 Nm at 1900 rpm. Hyundai Avante comes with advance technology and stylish looks which is crafted with perfection. The sedan like car has sharply edged bumper, rear looks like Toyota Corolla thick bumper and stout tail lights. Inside the Avante, plush interiors are added to give the passenger luxury of a sedan. The new car from Hyundai is made more comfortable, sides comes with small crease which gives it a sheek look. The new 5 seater, has features of AC with climate control, remote central locking, power windows, instrument panel with blue-black lighting, remote fuel filler. Some other features are sleek dashboard, tinted glass, electric driver seat adjustment, steering coming with controls, MP3 players and more. The new Hyundai Avante comes with safety features such as two airbags, anti-braking system, fog lamp, parking sensors, EBD, ESP and traction control. Hyundai Avante is seen as a great competition against the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Chevrolet Optra and Skoda Octavia which are popular sedans. Avante has to face a tough competition in the luxury car segment in India. The luxury car segment market has a great potential and many automakers want) to benefit from the growing market. Hyundai plans to capture the auto market with the launch of the new model in the Indian Auto market.
