IceWeb Inc., a leading provider of Unified Data Storage and building blocks for cloud

storage networks, announced today that the company has received yet another order from one of its national partners to deliver multiple units of its storage solutions to the U.S. Department of State.

The IceWEB Storage Appliances will host critical Geospatial Intelligence data that will help hasten the decision making process and enhance the capabilities of certain Departments of State locations domestically to respond to various situations with efficiency and speed.

Our products are available on GSA Contract and through our NASA SEWP vehicle," stated Tim McNamee, Federal Channel Sales Manager, IceWEB.

The large volume of contracts IceWeb has been receiving from the Federal Government this year has strengthened its reputation as a reputable provider of state of the art cloud computing services and protector of critical data and systems.

IceWEB received a 96 terabyte storage system order from Channel Partner Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies for use by a United States Government Agency. Then on September 9th, IceWEB announced that it had been selected by the U.S. Department of the Interior to manage and store critical geospatial data.

The deals from the Government kept coming. IceWEB's Channel Partner (ICP), Video Bank, also secured a contract with the Federal Government in which a 48 terabyte IceWeb 5000 would be deployed with VideoBank's leading Video Management Platform.

Earlier this year IceWeb also bagged a contract to supply Storage Appliances and Servers to assist in deploying satellite imagery in the theatre of combat areas. In September, IceWeb Launched the Iplicity Cloud Storage Appliance (CSA) product line which can be deployed either as SAN or NAS devices which deliver high performance scalable capabilities that for the first time are easily, rapidly, and centrally managed by a Private Storage Cloud or in a Hybrid Public/Private Cloud configuration.

The Iplicity CSA implements a simple management Graphical User Interface (GUI) through which network support staff can break down and thus easily manage a complex global storage appliance solution.

Will the Fed keep racking up a tab with IceWeb? Our bet is that as cloud computing becomes cheaper, more advanced, and universally adopted, the answer will be an astounding "yes"!
