You can easily add greenery by adding a variety of patio pots, hanging plants or building a trellis or pergola with climbing plants planted at the base. In addition, you may want to add a garden fountain or statue, a bird feeder or two, neat looking bird houses or a bird bath. Outdoor clocks and thermometers are quite popular in addition to stepping stones and decorative garden fences.

The key to designing your perfect outdoor living space is to make it large enough so your guests dont feel cramped, small and cozy enough to feel intimate, designed to fit the flavor of your home all while staying in your budget. Choosing outdoor furniture that is comfortable and easily maintained is also of huge importance. Remember to try out your outdoor furniture, too and make sure its comfortable to you. If youre planning an outdoor living area though and will entertain many guests, comfort may not play a huge role as everyone has different tastes and comfort levels. Decide on what is important to you and go with it. As always, with a little forethought and planning, you can have your outdoor living space created so its enjoyable, affordable and easily maintained for years to come.
