Hey there everyone. So Ive been completely engulfed in the writing and creative process of getting my new book done. I sent it out to some of our upper-echelon members to see what they thought, to see if I was really embracing the emotions and rewards they have experienced through coaching with The New Renaissance. One review I got back really caught my eye, and seems to sum most of the concepts up pretty well:

If you dont read this and cant figure out that youre the problem and you need to fix you then you are the problem. The old addage that the problem is out there takes the same lackadasical approach that we find the world in today. The problem is always someone else, something else. Quit your whinning and make a commitment to change you, to make a difference, to stand up and speak the truth no matter what others think of you. Now READ the book. Put your heart and soul into the book, let the book talk to you like it has to me and so many others.

Huh.pretty interesting concept: YOU are the problem. New patients, low income, no system in place, patients laughing at your recommendationsthose are the effects, not the cause of your stress. YOU are ultimately in control, yet you find it easier to blame others. Its a common theme. Just take a step back and be big enough to realize what youre doing. You are sabotaging your practice and the lifestyle you want to live by refusing to look beyond the effects of your current situation. New patients will come, referrals will happen (and automatically I might add), your income will increasebut first you have to put a system in place that you can actually stick to and will actually work.
