The first and the most important thing are to find the right person for the customer service job. After recruiting him, the first thing we should do is to teach him about etiquettes. It has a major role to play. We should make sure that we use good manners with the customers that we interact with. We all know the right manners but ensuring that they are implemented is something that should make sure. We should remind them how important it is to use good manners and having it fresh in our mind. The simple act of using good manners has a very good effect on the level of satisfaction that our customers experience. Showing good manners will help us to solve the problems that we have created to the consumer after he uses one of our products. Therefore, we should make sure that we show some of the common manners to the customers. A simple please, sorry or a thank you can make all the difference and help us make the consumers happy and the consumer will wait for us to solve his problem. If the customers like the way we treat them they will be willing to compromise on the quality of the product because they know that if something goes wrong to the product, our company will help them solve that problem. We should also make sure that no matter what happens we should never lose our cool and should not show any disrespect to the customers. So always, treat the customers with polite manner and always with respect. Then we do not have to worry about anything. If the customers argue or fight with us, we should not fight or argue back even if the customer is wrong. We should wait patiently for the proper chance to convince the consumer about the facts and on how we can help them solve their complaints.

The next important thing is that we should show that we care about the customer. It is also very important. It does not mean that we need to give them a hug or tell them that you love them. We should let them know that we care about their opinion. It is very much about showing our customers that they are important to us by providing a good quality service and providing things beyond their expectations to keep our customers happy. A good example is by offering them complementary gifts, free services, replacements, and so on. Doing things like these can be very pleasing for the customer and they will definitely buy our products again because they trust our products and service very much. We should create a customer focus group by inviting 10 to 20 loyal customers to meet regularly and conduct a monthly survey on this group. We should ask them for ideas and input on how to improve our customer service and do not forget to reward them so that they will be motivated to help us.

The next important thing is that we should make sure that the customers feel that we are willing to listen to their problems and to help them to solve their issues. We should always be there to help our customers. When we get an email from the customers, we should make sure that we reply to the customer's query at the earliest. It is not a good habit to wait for some time before replying to the customer. If we do things like that, there is a very good chance of losing our customers.


We should make sure that we always give quality service to the customers under all circumstances. Our aim is to have a very good customer satisfaction record for our company. Therefore, we should give more importance to the customers than on profit. We should do everything possible to attract more number of customers. The more number of customers, the more will be our profit. Therefore, do not worry about the profit for the time being because as the number of customers increases, the profit will automatically follow us.
