Important Information For Getting Your Viewers To Remember Your Presentation

Keep it simple when creating PowerPoint presentations

, this is a great rule to live by.

Too often we get the need to stuff way too much information in our PowerPoint Presentations; most times in the form of text. This can confuse your viewers and leave them overwhelmed by too much information. For example, after reading a page in a book you can't remember what you've just read. I have this problem way too much. LOL. Can we prevent this information overload? Yes, by using less words to get a point across and verbalizing more.

PowerPoint templates with way to much text become like reading that book page where your viewers find it hard for them to retain information you are trying to get them to absorb. How do you get your viewers to absorb with less words? There is Research that has found people will be more likely to remember concepts when in the form of pictures. This is refereed to as the picture superiority effect, which states that concepts in the form of pictures are more easily remembered.

The best way to use this is by adding high quality 3d clip art to your PowerPoint Presentations and outlining your main points with text. You will be able to add to those points with verbal communication. Beware of using to many clip art images as your presentations can start to become cluttered and confusing to you viewers. Using about two clip art images per slide will be a good amount to back up your points. If your slide looks too cluttered with clip art try putting it on the slide following your text information.

I Hope you found this information useful, for more information on clip art in PowerPoint visit the link below.
