Our lives tend to be so busy we don't have a lot of time to spend with loved ones.
It's really hard on our relationships or marriages.
Many of us spend more time with coworkers than we do with our significant otherand frequently end up sleeping with them, too.
It's never a good move. You can lose your job over it. Or you lose your marriage. Or you end up with a reputation you don't want. Or you are in bed with a real creepy blackmailer. Or you get some bad karma. Or you get a STD. Or all of the above could happen.
It just happens because ofguess what.
PROXIMITY!!!
And guess what? There is another word.
"Propinquity"
It's the attraction that happens between people who are in close proximity!
It's real so make it work for you with the person who means the most to you.
Suppose you have exactly that at home.
Take care of your love, be there for your lover, and don't let anything get in the way of itincluding work.
You have to be in proximity with your loverthe really important person in your life.
You've heard the phrase "Close Proximity".
Touching distance works.
How close?
Close enough to make love regularly.
Being together increases intimacy.
It encourages communication.
Married people just naturally make love more often than people who are single. It happens partly because of proximity. There is someone there who is open and interested in being with you.
Proximity brings opportunity for sex and intimacyemotional as well as physical.
So, here's the revelation.
Arrange your life so that you have proximity to the person who is really important to you.
Make sure that your work does not interfere excessively. You may actually need a career change to make this happen. Don't assume it's impossible. There are a number of ways to do this.
If you keep a regular job don't let it take over your life. Employers don't give any employee a lot of loyalty. It's reality. Go home to your lover at the end of the workday.
1. Because the above is true consider self-employment. It gives you more control of your time.
2. One or both of you could work from home.
3. You could work together in some type of business.
4. If one of you has a good, lucrative career, the other could keep the home fires burning.
5. A compelling hobby or interest could become a shared career.
It's less impractical than you might think to spend time with someone who is really important to you. And look for passion in your time together. Make it happen. It's the most rewarding part of romance.
Your relationship matters more than your career. Find passion. Nurture it and enjoy it.
