The nature is at its best at Chaing Rai, where the displays of the flower gardens, waterfalls, the hot springs with healing properties make the place a near paradise. Here you find beautiful temples and the most famous of them is the White temple. Not very far is again the Chiang Mai which offers perfect outdoor activities, like elephant riding and treks. The most interesting thing here is the Karen tribe women bearing the long neck with decorative rings around them.
