get traffic to your site? Well I've 10 steps you can take to improve your traffic.
1. Use a paid web host. Paid host produce better search engine ranking then free host do. Because most visitors don't like ads, the use of paid host sites are recommended.
2. Article submission is a great way to get traffic. Write articles and submit them to websites and ezines for publication. Chose topics that you have some knowledge of and write! Don't make it difficult, just write! Be sure to use correct spelling and grammar when you write.
3. Create more than one domain name for your site. By doing so you give people a greater opportunity to find you.
4. Use WordPress to create a blog and post as often as you can. Link your blog to your website, thereby increasing traffic to your business.
5. There are tons of "Free" material to offer which will give value to your site.
6. Your site must be appealing to the eye so don't just throw something together and expect results. Ask for comments and give in return.
7. Pay per click (PPC) are great, so include them in your budget.
8. Provide worthwhile bits of information to forums and message boards.
9. Be sure to use online social networking sites. Create a profile on all the major sites like, FaceBook, My Space, Linkedln, etc.
10. Use of correct metadata is a must. Metadata helps the seeker find your site. These are words which are embedded in html links.
