Information about Laptop backpacks

Finding backpacks for laptop computers is a fairly easy mission. There's no shortage of backpacks for pc's available and, in fact, just searching that one phrase returns nearly a million hits on the Internet. No, finding these computer carrying devices is no problem. The only problem is in deciding which one is best for you.

I had no idea there were so many versions and variations until I did a little net surfing and pulled up some data from several of the many sites offering these items. The first one I found is called the 'Distortion'. The pattern on the bag is a little wild for my tastes but I kind of like the name. As it turns out, this is a backpack designed to carry a fifteen inch laptop AND a skateboard! It also has places specifically for your MP3 and cell phone. Man, where was all this stuff when I was a kid?

As it turns out, several of the big names in luggage manufacturing also have entries in the laptop backpack arena and these look like pretty well made units. I guess you could expect a company who's been making suitcases and briefcases for more than a hundred years to make a nice computer carrier too. They're not the cheapest, but they look sturdy and functional.

There are also high-end models available from various manufacturers. Some are made from very nice (and relatively expensive) leather and seem to carry fairly exotic names to go with their hefty price tags.

The best advice seems to be to find a site that has some user comments/reviews for the item(s) in which you have an interest. People relate real-life experience with the product after having purchased and used it. For me, this information is invaluable when making a buying decision.

It came as somewhat of a surprise that so many women are opting for nice backpacks these days to not only carry their personal computers but other personal stuff as well. In effect they're doing away with their purses, shoulder bags and pocketbooks and transferring EVERYTHING to a single accessory... a backpack.

The best laptop backpacks are the ones that most closely fit your particular requirements. I don't own a skateboard so I passed on the 'Distortion'. I read some reviews for this one though, and they're good. And the price is very reasonable. Maybe it's something that would work for you!
