Good insulation also makes the place cool for summer so that the use of air-conditioning is minimized. Because insulators prevent heat from building up, the house is not heated easily. People claim to have lower electric bills after they have had their houses properly insulated.

Houses can also be kept warm through the winter with the use of insulation. Through it, the house is given only enough warmth so that it is not cold, yet it is not hot. This is done with the use of materials that trap heat and circulate them around the house to create a livable environment. If the house is properly insulated, it becomes the perfect living condition with a regulated temperature all through the year.

Painting the house also insulates it, especially if it is situated in a hot place. Paint enables the room to be less susceptible to noise and heat because it allows for less corrosion of particles. Wooden walls and ceilings also make the temperature in the house more manageable. If good paint, wooden walls and ceilings, and thick surrounding insulation are combined, the house will be less susceptible to stressful changes in the environment.
