Interesting And Unique Ways To Grab Business Attention

Okay, so there are a million different ways to promote your business and the more creative an idea is the more attention that it takes

. Way back when, a person decided to offer body advertising on their forehead on EBay, and this not only took quite a bit of money but created a whole new advertising spin. It was the first time that someone offered this unique form of advertising to the world, and everyone was in awe with the creativeness of this advertising strategy.

It was a trend that passed quickly though. But not before it got a bunch of attention from the media and a lot of other people. What is notable about the ad is not how the guy did it, it is the fact of how different it is. When you can do something that gets a lot of attention in whatever way it will build brand recognition.

Another unusual way of getting peoples attention is using banners that fly behind planes. This old news though. People used small remote control planes with little banners to fly through conventions and trade shows, and that was something unusual at the time. Taking that a step further, people actually used flies, with teeny tiny banners tied to their legs, to fly their message around tradeshows. That got a lot of attention.

Because it was so strange the media and many others became interested in it. You might not want to employ insects in your marketing plan but there are other things that you can do to make a big splash. It takes a little creativity and some ingenuity to get new things going. The whole idea is to get people talking about your business.

Thinking this way would mean that instead of having one of your regularly dressed employees giving away promotional goodies, you could have Santa do it. Or have a giant cup of cocoa give out candy, or even a massive doughnut costume to attract attention. It is all about the exposure.
