Even though successful Internet home business owners all do things their own ways
there are a few things that they all have in common.From a personal standpoint I would do something things different if I had to start all over again today
1. For example the most important thing I would focus on is building an email marketing list. You see the same names pop up over and over again when you look at the top of any home business program.
This is true no matter what the program or product is. These Internet marketers are quickly able to climb to the top of the leader board because they have a large email list to promote to. I work with one Internet marketer who has well over 100,000 people on his list.
Some of these marketers have unbelievable lists that number thousands or even millions of subscribers. Can you see the advantage of joining a program and being able to tell all of these people about it right away?
An Internet marketer that I know with a mailing list of 100,000 people can instantly build a down line in a network marketing program of thousands of people right away.
They can also blast out a mailing to their list about a new product that they are using to build their own business. This allows them to make thousands of dollars per mailing. This explains why people with large mailing lists are earning a full time living every month just doing email marketing.
2. Another important point is to not put all of your eggs in one basket. The Internet makes it possible for you to make money in numerous ways. This means you should be building an income in different niches and not focusing on just one.
The key is to get one income stream coming in and then automate as much of it from there as possible. By doing this,you can then move onto another income stream and began to work at making it profitable.
Some people call this building a virtual real estate empire. The more websites and blogs you have out online the more money you can have coming in. I know of Internet marketers who have hundreds or even thousands of websites earning them money in a very hand off fashion.
These are two things I would do different if I was starting out today with my own Internet home business. The amount of money you make will certainly increase if you focus on list building and broadening the number of Internet websites you have.
