Intuitive Coaching Lesson - Objective Thought: Neutrality and Controlling Your Thoughts
, Part II
Negative, positive and neutral forces are essential for the normal functioning of the universe. This is apparent atomically. An atom needs three aspects: a neutron (neutral), a proton (positive), and an electron (negative). Without equal parts of these elements the atom is unbalanced. It is unstable and will seek another atom with which to combine. The same is true in nature. Fires tear apart the landscapes of forests. Many trees are killed and plant life is destroyed. This is necessary for rich soil to form and new growth to occur. The burned out areas sprout smaller plants, which feed the wildlife and regenerate the soil.Throughout these events the sun shines and the air exists around the area; everything else is essential to the process while remaining neutral to it, in a sense. Those that interfere and extinguish the fires are destroying nature's big plan to suit their own small plans for the area. Objective thinking has now enabled people to understand that what seems right is not always so, in the same way that fires are essential to natural management of forests and scrubland. In order to see the neutral perspective, you must consider everything else. Seeing everything else is a big part of intuitive healing. For example, a mother and daughter might argue about whether or not the daughter may go out on a date. There are negative and positive sides saying, "Yes, I can," and "No, you can't." This argument could continue for hours, days, and even years. However, there are many other alternatives. Everything else still exists outside of this argument.A salesperson is calling on a restaurant in Florence. There are people talking outside the house. A car accident is occurring in Spain. None of this seems relevant to the argument, but it is essential. Without all of these other aspects of life, the argument could not occur. Nothing in life (including communication and thought) can occur without the influence of everything else around it.If the mother and daughter let go of the "yes and no" of the situation and remain objective, another solution might occur. A party invitation might appear where the daughter can go with the date, but be with others. Or perhaps the couple might go to an event where the parents are also in attendance. There are many alternatives to all situations. It's impossible to see them when you identify solely with the positive or the negative side of a situation. Objective thought enables clarity of purpose.Let's look how the negative, positive and neutral affect us at work. You may be an executive wondering if you should buy a certain product. You've been informed of the benefits of the product and are considering it, but aren't sure if it's the right one for you. Yes you should, or no you shouldn't. Will it cost too much? No. Will it save money? Yes.Step back from the situation by focusing on anything not related to it. Remove yourself from the outcome and look at the situation objectively. Perhaps there's another solution beyond this one. Perhaps doing more research will help you to firm up your decision . Effective salespeople create an objective environment for their clients. Playing golf is a way to meet clients in a neutral setting without the pressure of business decisions. In this space, decisions are subtly made without even discussing the issue in question. The communication is developed in an objective environment without the negatives and positives becoming individually important. As you are able to step back and see all perspectives, decisions will come naturally from a place of neutrality. You'll get the full picture and can then act accordingly. When you find yourself locked in a debate or unable to make a decision, step back and identify with a more objective aspect of reality. Remove your awareness from the outcome and center yourself in your head. Let go of the result and identify with the rest of the world. Listen to a bird singing, or notice the sun shining on a car. Do or think anything that is unrelated to the issue at hand. Notice the shift in energy and then pursue your activity from this perspective. You'll notice that your body relaxes more, your mind is freed up to evaluate more accurately, and you'll be feeling happier and more content.A neutral stance is also essential when you're helping others. Let's say that you're talking to someone who is unhappy. If you identify with the positive or negative aspect of the conversation, you'll get stuck in it and become enmeshed with the other person's energy. For example, take a situation where a woman loses her husband to cancer. This is a very sad situation. She may be crying and telling you how lonely and distraught she is, and if you allow yourself to identify with her you too will become lonely and distraught. Then you're both stuck in this same situation. There is no hope of seeing the light when you're both wallowing in this negative space. Objective though is your only hope, and when used it can become a very powerful tool... I'm not saying that you won't feel for the woman. You might feel a great deal of compassion or love for her, which is not possible when you're stuck feeling her loneliness and unhappiness. If you compassionately listen to her from a place of neutrality or objectivity without becoming enmeshed in her negative energy, then you will give her hope. She will unconsciously connect with this place within you that is not sinking into despair. This will be a lifeboat that she can focus on consciously or unconsciously, and eventually her sadness may give way to peace. In the same way, you can lose a sale by being too positive about the product. Trying too hard to show all of the positive aspects of a product (identifying with the positive energy) might create the opposite effect; the other person could back away. By remaining objective, you can talk to the person about what he needs. You can talk about other things, as well. You can tell him about the product in an objective manner, stressing its positive aspects but not identifying with the outcome. If you remove yourself from identifying with whether or not you make the sale, you'll give the client the space to make the decision. From an objective viewpoint you'll be able to see what he really needs and what his concerns are. You'll be able to ask questions that help you get this information from him. If you then give him the information he needs to know, and if the timing is right and the product is beneficial to him, he will buy the product. As an intuitive coach, I instruct my clients that when you exist in a place of neutrality, you're able to see all of life in a relaxed and easy manner. You won't get caught up in whether or not something happens. You won't worry about the outcome of events. You'll exist in a place of awareness where you know that everything is moving as it should, and that everything will unfold in time. You will be able to view the world objectively, with no agenda of your own. You'll feel safe because you won't be attached to a negative or positive outcome. Your happiness will not depend upon events and how they play out. Instead you will exist in a place of pure bliss, which knows no outcomesonly present time. It is from this place that you'll be able to create great miracles in your life through objective thought.
