Here's a smart step in the company's strategy: hire a 30-year industry veteran with extensive marketing and sales experience to capitalize on evolving consumer eating trends.

Rick Suchenski will be joining Inventure Group as the companies SVP of marketing and sales, a position he has filled for a handful of major corporations snapping the food and consumer products industry including Proctor and Gamble and Frito-Lay. Most recently, he served as the General Manager for the RTD Beverage Division at Sunny Delight Beverage Co., during a time when the orange and blue bottled juice maker was committing heavy capital to marketing support and product innovation. The result was a series of product acquisitions that helped the company record $707M in sales at the end of 2008 and muscle its way into the top 10 on the Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 the following year, a list compiled by The Inquirer and Deloitte that tracks the biggest companies operating in the Greater Cincinatti and Northern Kentucky areas. With Rick's help, SunnyD was able to cut marketing expenses and expand the presence of the Fruit2O business line that now makes up 13% of the company's overall revenue.
