Everyone can attest to having at least interacted with an iphone

, and many of their users live and die by their electronic icompanions. With a new release of the operating system on the horizon, expecting to arrive sometime this fall, many people are wondering what's new in this version of it? What is going to make this version of the iOS much better (or much worse) than it's predecessors? Are there any new features or enhancements? And probably the most important question every iphone user wants to know Will I still be able to jailbreak my phone?

Among the new features of iOS6 is complete integration with Facebook. Facebook is now integrated in with contacts and photos, much like what is already available on Android platforms, though with iOS6 you can instantly share photos, links, locations, and status updates. Google Maps will be dropped in favor of Apple's own map program, Maps. It will offer many different views such as 3D and fly over options that are absent in the Google Maps version.

There is also better Safari integration with iCloud, the cloud service offered from Apple, across all of it's devices. Now, you can start browsing on the iPhone and switch over to an iPad. This is available through a new feature called iCloud Tabs. Safari also now has the ability to go full-screen in landscape. There is also now a feature that allows you to reject a call with a message that is sent to the number calling much like what is available on Android already. There is also another feature that allows no incoming notifications and calls for a set time period, though a setting to allow favorites through the filter is allowed, this is called Do Not Disturb. Lastly, the famed Siri gets some updates with iOS6, in that it can answer questions about sports, movies, and restaurants as well as get live sports updates, reviews of movies, and find restaurants.

But what about jail breaking the iOS, like so many people have done and will be doing come this fall. Jail breaking is a popular way to customize one's iPhone in a way that the programmers at Apple haven't integrated into the system.
