Well first of all let me say that if you are looking for a fast easy way to make money then the answer is a resounding no! What you will find, if you do your research seriously and in depth, is that like every other aspect of life what appears to be too good to be true usually is. If however you have a good basic knowledge of computers and seriously like to help people then there is an extremely good living that can be made from Internet Network Marketing. Before you start though you need to realize that this is a highly competitive business so you must be prepared to learn and adapt quickly as the technology and systems used both date rapidly and change all the time.
This means that for the opportunity to be right for you you need to want to help people have a natural affinity for them and their needs, understand computer technology or at least want to learn and you will also need to be able to write in a compulsive way. I am not saying that you will have to write startling pristine prose all the time, what you will need is an ability to communicate with your target market.
If you figure that you can cope with the above you need to bear in mind that you have to select a niche (that is a market where you have less competition than most but still enough customary interest to make it worthwhile). It is highly unlikely that a new marketer can compete head on with Amazon or eBay from day one! However you may not have to if you can find a niche that appeals to you and which they have not already over-saturated. In order to find the niche you will need to understand keywords and Google Analytics as well as have a good tool to analyze your competition. It is as well to also have tools to build sites and edit them rapidly as you may have to adapt to competitors changes in order to hang on to your hard fought for search engine rankings.
A word of caution on niches you may well find that your chosen niche on which you are expert is not a particularly profitable one, so you have also to be prepared to rethink your strategies and learn to market to where the demand is. this is true of all marketing. There are demand driven markets and marketing made markets (an example of the latter would be Cocoa Cola) and the former food retailing, the difference is one is a fundamental market need and the other a need created by the marketers. In general it is much better to be in a market where there is a natural demand that is not fully met rather than one that has to be created. Most Internet marketers do not have the advertising budget of Cocoa Cola!
Finally once you have identified your niche you will need to check to see if it can be monetized i.e. you can find suppliers or associates that have the product you wish to promote. Then you have to build a logical and appealing website that will tempt your customers to click on your buy now or add to cart buttons get out their credit card and make the purchase. This brings us to the need to have a payment system and a shopping cart, you may not need either initially, but be aware that if you intend to be in Internet Network marketing for the long haul most of us want to eventually have our own product. If we do not have our own product in the end we can be at the mercy of the market, which is usually the reason most people start Internet Network Marketing in the first place, the recession or market change led to the loss of their job.
The good news is that if you can master all of the above the potential income is unlimited as the Internet market is 1.4 billion plus English speaking users and growing. However it is my belief that few people can manage on their own but good help is available through forums and on-line discussion groups. So if you are really determined and can handle all of the challenges above Internet Network Marketing is for you.
Once you have mastered all of this of course you can rinse and repeat, but bear in mind that the most successful marketers still only achieve about a 50% success rate. They rely on having many businesses to spread the risk.
