. Granted, there are a huge quantity of gimmicks our there which make people believe they are about to become a star. One gimmick people where taken for fools was a online sweepstakes guaranteeing them a spot on the television show American Idol.

Some people are taken for fools because of an online sweepstakes they may have seen that guarantees them a spot on American Idol. Not only are gimmicks out there but people really don't need talent, drive, or an education to be a part of the entertainment industry.

Real-life TV has changed into a multi-million industry for networks because they don't have to pay the actors. Networks earn cash off these folk because spectators keep watching them to find out what happens and that keeps their ratings up. For entertainment networks, Reality TV is a win-win situation. But what about the people on the other end? These so called actors are essentially being exploited for such a huge gain. They not compensated for their self-embarrassment and emotional distress. To make things far more interesting, some of them have had their own spin-off's from their start on another real life show. An excellent example would be New York from the VH1 show, Flavor Of Love, she went on to have her very own reality shows : I Love New York and I Love New York two. Both of theses shows demonstrated folk making themselves look like idiots.

How many rappers can exist in one country at the same time? Why do so many people work toward being rappers? Well, the answer's not too tough. If you have one decent song, the possibilities are that you are going to get exposure. Now days, everybody has not been signed to a record label, but nearly everyone has had either airtime on the radio or has made an appearance in a local mall or at a party. To be a rapper, you also do not need to learn to sing, just recite words to a rhythm. You could be the most untalented person on earth but still have a rap career.

If you have been to college and received a qualification in something that is associated with the entertainment industry,eg radio or TV production, you are in line to get an executive role.

So next time you turn on the television or the radio, think about how much work it did or didn't take that person to get where they are.
