In most cases the front and back legs are the most commonly affected. Sometimes it is the lymph node on the shoulder of that leg that may be enlarged.
In most cases when dogs that have been infected are showing signs of soreness and depression and are sleeping much more than usual. If you touch or press their joints they may yelp and they may be quite reluctant to walk. Most times when they do walk, they walk with a stiff shuffling gait and an sometimes a slightly arched back, because of the pain and stiffness. These symptoms are very noticable on stairs.
