. There is a man right now asking his self is my wife having an affair? The only thing this man can think about is the fact that he feels like his heart is being ripped out of his chest. When the woman you spend your life with ends up in another mans arms it feels as if a dagger has been plunged into your chest.

If you think that your wife may be having an affair then you should probably confront her as soon as possible. The reason you suspect the affair is because you do not have any proof. So without any proof the only thing you can do is confront her and tell her you want the truth. She will probably assume that you already know about it all and tell you everything.

After you get her confession then you have to determine whether she plans on trying to stay with you and work things out or if she plans to leave you for the other guy. If she chooses to stay with you then you have to decide if you think you can ever trust her again. After a betrayal that big trust is hard to come by.

It would take a long while for you to ever trust your wife again after something like that but if you want your marriage to last then you could always try marriage counseling. Couples therapy has saved many marriages. If there are kids involved you also have to consider their feelings in all this.

If you prefer to have your kids raised in the home with both parents there then you should work hard at reconciling your marriage through any mends necessary. You might as well try marriage counseling because without the marriage is doomed anyway. So go to couples therapy and if it doesn't work then you can both go your separate ways after giving it your best shot.

You have to choose whatever is going to make you happy. You should not stay in the marriage just for the children. The children will realize that you are not happy and they will not want you staying just for them. They will want you to be happy.
