I have been able to test the current AffiloBlueprint 2.0 tutorial system for teaching affiliate marketing and making money online for newbies. The question is, does it work?

This system was my own introduction to affiliate marketing after I had tried a few other training courses first. These had given me a basic grounding in the requirements for Pay Per Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), but had left me feeling inadequate and confused. One of these courses, unfortunately, pushed me down the PPC path long before I knew what I was doing. That PPC venture was a total loss.

Luckily, in retrospect, I read a recommendation for marketing guru Mark Ling's AffiloBlueprint system and decided to use it, with great success. I can now review the system properly in light of this experience.

I see that the new version has changed very little from the one I used. There is the same clear series of hands-on videos that build progressively on each other, which I found very easy to use. Mark is the main teacher, with his assistant Aletta there to ask all the obvious (and some not so obvious) questions. They interact well and manage to make the videos both informative and fun. There are accompanying PDF notes but you are encouraged to make your own notes as well, which I fully support.

No previous knowledge is required to start the course, and it builds logically to a simple but fully functioning website using either XSitePro or WordPress, which is my choice. The whole range of online sales techniques is covered, from choosing good niches to social marketing and newsletters.

The course is split into 12 weeks, although you can go at any pace that suits you. The recommended 12 weeks seems about right to me. The secret is not to rush through it, just take it easily and follow each step thoroughly. From personal discussions with Mark Ling I know that he is a strong believer in quality over quantity, and that is evident in this course.

Are there any things to criticize? I suppose it is not as good as a one-on-one tutorial by a marketing expert, but then it costs only a small fraction of such a course. Also I would like it to concentrate on WordPress rather than XSitePro, but this is only a small point.

To summarize, I find this is a high quality product. It includes all essential topics in a format that is easy to understand, and provides a good range of tools and templates that are really useful.

I commend this as one of the best affiliate training programs currently available. It makes no outrageous claims, just gets on with the job of teaching a beginner all the necessary basics so that he or she can go and earn money online without wasting money, time or effort on useless easy money' gimmicks.
