, brilliant HD? Well, you may want to consider the Panasonic TX-P42G20. You will find excellent HD performance that is provided in real color and you will get this for half of what you would use in energy with other LCD models, due to its innovative NeoPDP technology. Sound good so far? Read on!

Freesat tuner and 600 Hz intelligence capabilities are available on this set. This means that the freesat tuner will adjust all of your programs into high definition and the 'Intelligent Frame Creation' offered in 600Hz will regulate any imagine distortions without interrupting your viewing.

Although Panasonic did not incorporate its very thin, classic design on this model it is not big or unattractive. Its average design sits on a non-revolving pedestal, which may be exactly what you want if you have small kids. If you take a quick peak at the back of the set you will find 2 fans providing the cool down for the plasma. They do give off a slight noise but when the TV is set at usual volume and you are sitting at ordinary distance from the TV you can not hear anything.

There is a green/blue tint visible around the picture and if you try to change it from the settings all other colors will be altered as well.

3.) Green and bluish over tinting

4.) No independent changes are saved to your settings; only settings for picture modes are available for saving.

5.) Energy efficient, yes, but could have done better like some its LCD counterparts on energy consumption.

There is a need on the consumer market for energy efficient plasma technology. Installing the NeoPDP technology in the Panasonic TX-P42G20 tries to answer this need. Although the color precision and normal HD video processing is not all that great, you can forgive Panasonic's shortcomings for the price they are offering for this set.

Panasonic touts its high quality black detail in this model. Real colors that do not feel fake, great motion clarity, freesat capabilities and lower energy consumption are some of the features you can expect from this affordable model.
