Is There A Cure For Losing Belly Fat?
The deposition of fat is entirely dependent on your calorie intake versus your energy expenditure, although some people appear to be predisposed to being fat and which may indeed be genetic in cause. For the very great majority of people though, it is simply down to having elevated blood sugar levels for the majority of the time; this leads to elevated insulin levels which in turn leads directly to fat deposition. The equation is straightforward: high blood sugar equals high insulin equals fat deposition.
Now that that is clear, we could end here because it is obvious what you need to do to prevent fat deposition. In which case you may well end up the same size and shape, with occasional seasonal variations like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Ede or Easter or whatever religious opportunity for eating and drinking too much you prefer. Atheists must be having a laugh as they can pick and choose any or all of them. A facetious observer might conclude that all overweight people are therefore atheists...no, OK because in that case the message would be: get religion and lose weight. Anyway, I digress.
The truth is that the typical American eats something like twenty times the amount of sugar DAILY today compared to 200 years ago. Much of this is 'hidden' in other processed foods, but it gets worse: many sugars are 'hidden' in everyday things which are REAL GOOD FOR YOU. Like a banana (three times the original daily average), or fruit juice (same, three times) and anything else that tastes sweet. Your body will not care one way or the other whether the sugar is in a natural or processed form; all sugars are metabolised the same way (increased insulin and fat deposition).
'Athlete' foods like pasta and bread (and yes bananas again!) are high density carbohydrates which release sugars into the blood over an extended period (equals high insulin and fat deposition) so these should be avoided on a protracted basis; substituted for low-density carbs like fresh vegetables and salads always eaten with a protein side as this will help fill you up.
Of course, anything which is openly full of sugar like chocolate or non-diet fizzy drinks or jams and honey should be avoided. That said, unprocessed honey is extremely good for you, so it is important to maintain some perspective when choosing what and what not to eat.
In this respect, one of a few exceptional dieting (or non-dieting) food plans exist which provide clear as day, black and white detailed instructions of how to lose that belly fat without cutting down on how much you eat.
