Is There Really Anything Stopping You From Moving To Canada?
When people think about Canada immigration, whether it is in respect of something
that they are considering doing themselves or something that someone they know has carried out recently, it's a common thought to believe that the entire process - and everything related to it - is extremely difficult and can only be done if you have no ties.
And to a certain extent, these thoughts are right.
If you are a single person who is currently renting their home, has no major belongings and has managed to save up several thousands of pounds, you are going to find it a lot easier to pack up your things and carry out Canada immigration than a family of 5 who have owned their own home for 10 years and have a wealth of personal items and belongings.
But, what you need to keep in mind is that just because it is more difficult if you are not a single person without any ties, it doesn't mean it's impossible - it simply means that you've got to think about the process and plan things a little more when compared to someone who is single.
Fortunately, it's highly likely that as you've got a family, you're used to planning for everyone and more often than not, your plans for permanent Canada immigration will not be much different to if you were only visiting on holiday.
Look at your children and their education as an example. Generally speaking, if they're not got into secondary school yet, their education isn't going to suffer. As long as the move is made in a time that isn't going to be overly disruptive and you've researched what schools are available and whether they'll be suitable, the only problems you're likely to face are from your children not packing their suitcases.
Similarly, finding a job can often pose a problem if you've got a family, as when you're a single person, you can work in any job you can manage to secure, as long as it pays for your accommodation and basic food.
With a family, however, you need a job that's going to provide a sufficient amount of money so that you can support your children.
Like Australia, though, Canada creates a list (known as the Canada Occupation List) on a regular basis of what vocations it requires workers for and therefore if you can fill one of these roles, you shouldn't face any major problems in terms of employment.
No matter how much of an optimistic person you are, when thinking about Canada immigration, you are naturally going to think of what obstacles are going to get in the way of you make the move. What you have to remember is that in most circumstances, these obstacles are simply hurdles that you have to get round and aren't brick walls that are impenetrable - sit down, think of how you can get past them and you'll soon realise that moving to Canada is something that really is a possibility.
