Jason Aldean Tickets - Jason Aldean Gets Roped In For All-star Performances

Country music newcomer Jason Aldean isn't up for an accolade at this year's Academy

of Country Music (ACM) Awards, but the "Amarillo Sky" vocalist will be present for the April 18 awards show, anyway. Aldean has been tapped as one of the evening's big performers at this year's ACMs, and he'll share the stage with some of country music's hottest acts at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the 45th annual ACM Awards.

Jason Aldean has recently been announced as one of the leading stars for the upcoming ACMs, joining a colorful cast of country music heavy hitters like Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire for the prestigious awards ceremony. Aldean, a 2005 ACM winner for Top New Male Vocalist, will then keep country music audiences in check the next night, when he performs as part of the tribute show "ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn - The Last Rodeo."

The Brooks & Dunn tribute concert will be taped April 19 following the ACM Awards in Las Vegas and will air May 23 on CBS, and Jason Aldean is just one of several artists lending their vocals to help exalt the best duo in recent country music history. Also set to perform at the Brooks & Dunn "Last Rodeo" tribute concert, which will be broadcast in honor of Brooks & Dunn's final farewell, are country superstars like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and more.

Jason Aldean's participation in star-studded events like those surrounding this year's ACM Awards means that he's finally made it in the country music industry, deserving to be a headliner amongst Nashville's biggest icons. Aldean has spent years trying to infiltrate the country scene, and it's been nothing but successful for the Georgia native since 2005, when he cracked the surface with a shout-out to the country crowd in the form of a yeehaw-yelling song called "Hicktown."

Soon thereafter establishing himself as a Southern-fried contemporary crooner with a traditional country appeal, Aldean quickly became a hot commodity on the country charts, zipping straight up to No. 1 with his second single, "Why," in 2005. Successive singles "Amarillo Sky," "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor" all notched slots on the Billboard charts, and by 2009 the cowboy hat-wearing crooner with a penchant for singing about tractors had become a bona fide country music superstar.

Aldean's most recent studio album Wide Open is still a force to be reckoned with on the country music scene, notching the No. 2 slot on the country charts upon release and spawning the hit songs "She's Country," "Big Green Tractor" and "The Truth." The album has also helped to sell Jason Aldean tickets online to a bevy of live performances, and with the Wide Open Tour extending its run through the summer of 2010, Jason Aldean and opening act Luke Bryan will continue tearing up the music scene on their way to country music euphoria.
