Jeep Holland Mi Consumers Participate In Massive Social Media Campaign
I love a good treasure hunt! Jeep just concluded a nationwide treasure hunt with
four winners taking home a limited edition 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander. Jeep dealers in Holland MI thought this was a fun way to get Jeep fans to connect with the new model.
The contest began on April 1 and ended in May when the last hidden Jeep Tiki was discovered. The Jeep Tiki Hunt Contest gave clues on a website and they were posted to the Jeep Facebook and Twitter sites. Those seeking to win the Jeeps then had to follow the clues in hopes of uncovering the Jeep Tikis, which each had a GPS device and their own unique phone number.
In this hunt for Jeep, Holland MI customers were among those who played along and found the contest thrilling. The first Jeep Tiki was hidden in the sand at the 2010 New York International Auto Show and contestants from the Jeep Tweet-to-Win contests had the chance to be one of five finalists to attend and dig for the Tiki.
During the entire contest about 10 million people viewed or shared the contest information and Jeep received almost 500,000 page views on its Facebook page. With success like that they are sure to try a similar contest. Ill be watching for the next giveaway!
There are still a limited number of 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islanders available in showrooms, so Jeep Holland MI customers should come in and have a look. The Islander has a beach theme representing the casual, fun lifestyle of the islands. It comes in splashy colors like Surf Blue Pearl, Stone White, Bright Silver Metallic and Brilliant Black Crystal, all in Clear Coat.
Features include a special Jeep Tiki decal in the hood and black side steps. It also sports 17-inch wheels. Inside you will find relaxing dark gray seats and more of the Jeep Tiki logo. Blue stitching accents the seats and the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Mopar rubber floormats round out the beach-like feel in the Islander.
Jeep dealers in Holland MI love the fun theme and the popularity of the Jeep Wrangler Islander. Im sure the winners are loving their Jeeps as well. The first Jeep Tiki was uncovered in a flower pot at Venice Beach by Justin Walter Reade-Chitaphana from Los Angeles. The next treasure went to Melissa Block of Virginia Beach, Virginia, who found the Tiki at the Crystal Gardens at Navy Pier in Chicago. (Man, why didnt I look there!) The third winner in the Tiki contest was Scott Carman of Golden, Colorado who spotted the Jeep Tiki on the wheel of Buffalo Bills buggy at the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave in his hometown. Kick back and enjoy your new toys guys!
