On Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2011, "The Speaking Clock Revue" concert was at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Many of your favorite bands performed including Elton John, Leon Russell, John Mellencamp, Elvis Costello, Gregg Allman, Ralph Stanley and Jeff Bridges with his favorite studio musicians. For the most part, each artist played two songs. The producer and ringleader of the Concert is T Bone Burnett. The night was filled with an all star journey through American Rock and roots music. Mr. Burnett has produced many of the songs such as John Mellencamp's "No Better Than This".

John Mellencamp has recently announced a concert tour where he will be visiting many cities throughout the United States and Canada including the city of Chicago at the Chicago Theatre on November 27, New York City where he will be performing at the Radio City Music Hall on February 18, 2011, Washington Dc at the DAR Constitution Hall on February 15, 2011 and many other cities and venues.

John Mellencamp was one of the original founders of the annual Farm Aid Benefit Concert with Neil Young, which celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Miller Park in Milwaukee this year. The show was the first Farm Aid ever hosted in "The Dairy State" of Wisconsin. Some of the performers at the Farm Aid were Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney and Norah Jones. The crowd consisted of the young and the old.

The Farm Aid concert earned more than $2 million from ticket prices alone with a crowd of over 35,000 attending.
