Not only does this 18 year old have a fantastic voice, smooth dance moves, and award-winning songs and album, but he's got style as well. Everyone remembers when people mimicked the "Bieber" haircut upon his arrival to the music industry. Bieber has won countless awards since 2010 and continues to sell out Justin Bieber tickets to all of his concerts worldwide. Now, with the release of his newest album, Believe, Bieber already has a hit song and is hitting the road to tour in support of it.

Bieber's Beginnings

Born in London, Ontario in Canada in 1994 but raised in Stratford, Ontario, Justin Bieber became a success literally overnight. His original aspirations had little to do with music and more to do with sports. He was into chess, soccer, and hockey, keeping his musical interests mostly to himself. But then the music bug bit him and Bieber set his own track toward musical achievement.

Like many other famous musicians, Bieber taught himself how to play not just one, but four different instruments. In his teens, Justin Bieber was able to play the trumpet, guitar, drums, and piano - a huge feat for anyone, let alone a teen. At the age of 12, he joined a Stratford local singing competition, placing second with his rendition of Ne-Yo's "So Sick". His mother recorded the performance and decided to put it up on YouTube for family and friends to see. But then she continued to record Justin as he sang various hit songs, most of them being soulful R&B tracks. Chris Hicks of A&R at Def Jam, Bieber's record album, states that this was probably one of the reasons he became such a hit on YouTube - he was doing what few others were.

Breaking Out

Justin Bieber was discovered by Scooter Braun by accident while surfing YouTube. He noticed that not only had Bieber's videos been huge successes on the video site, but that the kid was actually extremely talented. Braun quickly sought Bieber out and with his mother's permission, flew the 13 year old to Atlanta, GA to meet Usher, who was very interested in him. Bieber is so talented that Usher and Justin Timberlake were both rallying to sign the young singer. Eventually Usher won the bidding war and got Bieber signed to Island Records in 2008.

Justin Bieber went from YouTube, viral sensation to one of the biggest acts in the world. The reason so many people listen to his music is that they believe in his songs. That prompted Bieber's new album, Believe, in which he gives thanks to his fans and his family for believing in him. The first single, "Boyfriend," was an immediate success and was followed up by "Die In Your Arms" and the release of Believe. He is currently on tour to support the hit album.
