The palace has detailed wood carvings all around the structure and is decorated with ancient paintings. The Padi Igguthappa is one of Coorg''s most important temples. It is dedicated to Igguthappa another name for Lord Subramanya and is an important temple of the Kodav''s, the tribal inhabitants of Kakkabe.
