With that having been said, we're still going to remain fairly hesitant until we see the final version next month

We're still not entirely convinced that the art direction isn't as a direct result of an ugly engine and poor texture work, but at this stage, Dog Days seems to be a far superior sequel in every area. The shooting's tighter, both the Story mode and online multiplayer look inspired, and most importantly, Dog Days plays well something that certainly couldn't be said for Dead Men.
