People of the world say that Kashmir is not integral part of India. They say that Kashmir is a disputed area under the command of India and the part which Pakistan occupied in 1947-48 is under the command of Pakistan and therefore, both the countries had to create special status for these parts in their Constitutions. The position remained as such since 1948-49 because UN had given directions that there should be a Cease Fire and both the countries must conduct plebiscite in joint Kashmir and find out the willingness and wish of the people. The willingness of the people could be on three fronts. They shall declare to join with India, they shall be at liberty to declare that they shall join Pakistan or they shall declare that they shall establish a free country of their own. Pakistan wants plebiscite only on the ground that this Kashmir is mostly populated by Muslims and Pakistan is sure that they shall be favouring to join Pakistan. Pakistan shall be happy if Kashmiris form a separate independent state because it wants that at least India should not be occupying Kasnir.

India remained silent on this issue, but it is on record that Pakistan had been active on this front. Because of the efforts Pakistan had been taking on this front, it could create such units which are trying that they should separate from India and it is also on record that Pakistan had been sending some terrorists from that side to this side and firstly these terrorists had been given shelter by those who were against India and now these units could locate people in other parts of India who could give shelter, men, money, boarding and lodging, arms and ammunition to these terrorists and they are also giving them local information. They are also arranging hiding places for them so that after the operation they could save their lives. This is the present position and we must say that the people of India could not identify these local people who had been helping these terrorists from the side of Pakistan and now even government of India itself is saying that whole of India is in danger zone.

The present trouble is also created by Pakistan and they want some final decision of Kashmir. Pakistan could not win over this part of Kashmir and therefore, now they are demanding help from USA and there are reports that some soldiers from the side of China are also present in occupied Kashmir. On this side, the state is imposing curfew but in spite of this curfew, the people are coming on the roads and are throwing stones of the police and our army. All party delegations are also sent, but there seems to be no result.

It seems India and Pakistan would not be able to solve this problem. They are not willing arbitration and the only solution seems to be a war between the two countries. But war of today is most dangerous and therefore, the people must see that there should be peace. Possibly both the countries may agree that they must retain the parts of Kashmir which already in their occupation. But this solution is also not acceptable to India. The people of the world must come down with a solution of this Kashmir problem.
