Keep Your Head Up

"The most successful people knew they had the potential but failed about how they were overlooked at first but the reason why they were successful now is because they followed what they loved in their heart and continued to try until they made themselves better and found their success."

Read the quote posted up above because it puts everything together about what this article will talk about today. Many of the successful people in this world were told that they will never succeed in what their passion was or they got cut out from something that they really wanted to do. The people who are not successful are the people who let this get to them and quit.

The difference between them and the successful people is that the successful people are the ones who continue and never give up regardless of their circumstances.

An example of this would be of former NFL quarter back Kurt Warner who played for the Saint Louis Rams, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals. In college he did not start until his senior season. After college he was invited to try out for a quarterback position with the Green Bay Packers but he was cut. That did not bring down his dream of becoming a successful NFL quarterback so he continued to keep his head up and look elsewhere to follow his dream.

He took a brief job stocking shelves at a grocery store for minimum wage until he played in the Arena Football League where he was one of the top players in the league which caught the attention of the Saint Louis Rams.

In his first season he was the third string quarterback and in his second season he became the first string quarterback of the Saint Louis Rams and never looked back. He eventually because the league MVP of the 1999 season and carried the team into the playoffs. He ended up breaking records and sent the team to the superbowl where Kurt lead the team to a victory over the Tennessee Titans. Kurt was named the superbowl MVP and kept his head up and fighting for another superbowl victory for the rest of his career.

The example of Kurt Warner's life shows how having hope and love for what you do is possible even if it seems impossible and so far away. If you have passion and a desire to continue and if you really want something so badly you will NEVER give up and you will always strive to become the BEST through hope, practice, making smart choices and capitalizing on opportunity that will lead you up to where you want to be.

Kurt capitalized on his opportunity in the Arena Football League in order to get him to his ultimate goal of winning a superbowl. If you continue to take the opportunity as it comes and practice you WILL end up where you belong and in a situation that will make you satisfied in the end!
