Keeping Alive The Popularity Of The Tee

Every teenager in their own generation have unique definition of what style meant cool and hip

. While these definitions will differ with every generation, the choice of shirt that represented that style has always been the same comfort and softness of the t-shirt. This generation icon has been defining coolness and hipness for many decades; from the war years as the century began, through the latest coolness of today's teenagers. Any ager can be a teen again with the past and present designs available today.

For some a soft color is all they need to feel comfortable. There are many nice hues that feel just exactly like you are being enveloped in the energy of the color. There are many that are readily available at any store that sells t-shits or you can pick up some die and create the exact shade that makes you feel the happiest. A soft color on a soft shirt is very comfortable.

If, however, soft colors are just too boring for you and you crave the excitement of vibrant and electric colors, you are in for a treat when you see all the incredibly exciting bright graphics available to choose from. There are artist renditions of roadway overpass and city graffiti splashy and flashy like they were just painted with a spray can. You can just sense the excitement that pulled the designs together.

The popularity of yesterdays originals are beginning to resurface. Fueled by the people who bought and wore out their favorite originals and wanting to revisit these ole comfortable memorable friends. Whether they are individual art works or just some old school designs silk screened by hand; having a taste for the special flare and education of days gone by, is something the younger generation has yet to recognize the value of.

The plain white tee will never be topped for traditional wear. Some people prefer this to the painted, printed and colored varieties of tees. For retirees who fought in WWII, there is something fun and familiar about the soft white cotton t-shirt and button up jeans combo. Who doesn't remember the fifties and sixties ensemble of white t-shirt, jeans and leather jackets. James Dean, Elvis and the likes of John Wayne among others defined this look as cool and has never been matched by any generation.
