Kick The Habit Simply Decide To Quit

When it comes to the actual point when a person makes the conscious decision to give

up the health-destroying habit of smoking, they'll normally also be making the hugest mistake of all. They'll probably convince at least some others, but they'll not actually fully convince everyone and worse - they haven't yet actually completely convinced themselves!

I've totally lost count of the times i'd previously tried and witnessed so many others try to give up smoking just to fail miserably because of this self same reason.

Then of course, each time he or she fails to completely stop, the addiction to the 'nicotine monster' just gets worse and the smokers excuses develop rapidly until we completely halt trying to quit as we 'know' it isn't going to work anyway!

It's a sure thing that a whole lot of people reading this right at this moment have 'been-there, done-that' and so know just how it feels and will undoubtedly be feeling reasonably sorry for themselves round about now too.

A decision as serious as the one of giving up your smoking habit just cannot be taken too lightly. It certainly shouldn't be a glib statement you just say "because it seemed right at the time" - you got to know what you're letting yourself in for and like all else in life, if it's something you really need to do then you will if you categorically stay true to your word.

So, you've just doused a cigarette and decided that was it - the last one. Well then you need to retain that concept in your head at all times - that was without doubt my last cigarette!

I'm sure, before reading this article, you probably already did some decent research and so, you'll know that nicotine is a serious addiction and is the cause of all the cravings you have for those horrifying 'coffin nails' - the more you engage with them, the more you need.

Look, there's no doubt about it, you're going to get cravings and you're going to come to grips with them one way or another, especially if you're going to go 'cold turkey'.

Going 'cold turkey' by the way is by far the absolute best way of quitting smoking. However, I don't mean to mislead you here in any way, it can be tough going but if you're sincerely committed to your decision, if you have solid willpower and acknowledge what the cravings are and then recognize them as soon as they hit, then you can't lose.

It really only comes down to basics and this statement describes it perfectly - if you aspire for something bad enough, you will have it so long as you pay the price. In this case if you can manage the cravings and stick to a life-changing decision, then you'll discover a way to quit smoking!

In summary; the solid and absolute final decision of quitting the life destroying habit of smoking is an absolute must and even though you're bound to find it a little tough at first, being able to kick the habit is much easier than you think YOU ONLY HAVE TO WANT TO!

Quitting smoking naturally, speedily, and permanently isn't and has never been about overly complicated systems and/or poisonous pills and patches - it's all about simplicity, a little bit of will-power and some genuine tried and tested tobacco-quitting knowledge.
