Killer Terran Vs Protoss Strategy - Starcraft 2 Pro Terran Strategy
Playing Terran vs Protoss games can be a real pain because of the powerful area attacks that Protoss has to decimate groups of Terran infantry
. To deal with this you can either go with a mech style of play (which means bigger units) or you can use this Terran vs Protoss strategy.
Start off with a normal build order, putting a Reactor on your first Barracks after you make a couple Marines for early defense. Add on 2 more Barracks when you can and put Tech Labs on them. Research Stim Packs and Combat Shield and keep your Barracks busy making units for an early push.
A lot of times this early push can do a lot of damage to a Protoss player because Terran infantry is so powerful. If Protoss has a Colossus or High Templar though you'll have to pull back and get Ghosts to counter High Templar, and more Marauders and/or Vikings to combat the Colossi.
Get your Starport out and start making Medivacs to heal up your infantry army. A good trick is to build a Reactor on your Factory while your Starport is making Medivacs, then swap them out so you can make 2 Medivacs at a time, or a Medivac and a Viking depending on what you're up against.
After this expand to your natural expansion to keep your income high. When your second Command Center is done, you should be able to afford building 3 more Barracks or so and keeping them busy all the time. Keep your macro up and you'll build a huge army to be able to take down your Protoss opponent in the mid to late stages of the game.
As with all strategies, they won't work nearly as well if you don't have really good macro, which is your ability to have a high economy and produce a huge army. Once you get your macro game down then these strategies will come together much better.
