Kindle 2 Adictive Gadget!

I've had the Kindle 2 for two weeks. I loaded the PDF, a lot of electronic books (converted with Calibre) and some old South American comics that I wanted to reread (and Dartagnan El Tony, for those who grow up in Pampa) and taken to a one-week vacation in NH forest interior. This is my first e-ink device, and these are my impressions:

General feeling: the device is a bit 'heavy, but comfortable to hold, or lay on my legs. The contrast could be better, the background is gray, but is still easy on the eyes, and the best way that reading from a computer (or pad) screen. The next page button is easily accessible, even if the orientation is changed, it is difficult to achieve. Button previous page is a place unreachable. The keyboard is very functional for people with small fingers like me, I can imagine that it can be uncomfortable for large people.

E-books: this is what the device was designed for, and does a superb job. The fonts are scalable, easy on the eyes, and more text is included on each page because of the large screen, which makes you forget that this is an electronic gadget.

PDF forget. Most documents are unreadable, because there is no zoom function. Some comic books saved in PDF format looked great, though.

Comics: Most comics I read were originally printed in four colors and look great in B & W. colorful balloon can lose more complex than the original, but they do get a special feeling in grayscale. I was waiting for the 2nd generation IPAD reading comics, now I think I stick with the Kindle 2.

Others: There is a basic web browser included. It 'was sufficient for my needs (weather, news, maps, gmail). Reception was bad in the woods, but has done its job. It is hoped that improvements will come (bookmarks sorting would be great), but in general is not what I want for the Kindle 2.
