I must admit though, cats are worse than dogs. No offense or anything but think about it. Cats will scratch you couches and tear yout furnature up. I mean, you can still train them to behave properly. You will need the proper supplies to do so. If you want an outdoor cat, don't pay any attention to the supplies named. For indoor cats, get a liter box, food and water dish, scratching post, toys, and a play area. If you want to know a way a cat shows how they trust you, they will let you pet their stomach. Their stomach is the most vulnerable part of their body. Make sur you feed and water them fresh water every now and then. If you don't your cats will possibly get sick.
